Listing facts customers use
Primary category, hours, phone, and website. These are the fields someone checks before they call, and missing ones show up in the score.
Google Business Profile checker
Run a free GMB audit on a Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business). The checker reads the public listing and returns a score you can use to decide whether the full report is worth it.
3 free previews a day. Email required to see the score. No Google login.
What a free GMB audit checks
The tool does not log in to your Google Business Profile. It scores what Google already shows the public, and it says when a sample is too small to judge.
Primary category, hours, phone, and website. These are the fields someone checks before they call, and missing ones show up in the score.
Google returns up to 5 review texts. The checker uses that public sample for count and rating. It does not score reply rate when the sample is too small to measure.
Up to 10 public photo references. A thin sample is flagged. The full photo library needs owner access, so it is not treated as if the tool saw every image.
Add a search term and the tool checks up to 20 public local results around the business. That is a relevance check, not a geo-grid rank report.
Whether the site repeats the business name, phone, and location, and whether it mentions the keyword you entered.
The free preview collapses those signals into a score out of 100, a grade, the weakest scored area, and a finding count. The evidence behind each one stays in the paid report.
The signal-by-signal checklist lives on the Google Business Profile audit page.

FAQ
The preview is free: 3 a day, and an email is required before the score, grade, weakest area, and finding count are shown. A full audit with competitor benchmarks, prioritized fixes, and a PDF is $9. Plans start at $19/mo.
It reads the public listing, including category, hours, phone, website, a review sample, a photo sample, and an optional keyword probe. The free screen summarizes that as one score. Category evidence, the local competitor list, and the action plan are in the paid report.
The score stays hidden until you enter an email, then it opens on the page. Signed-in Freelancer and Agency subscribers skip that step and can unlock full audits from their monthly allowance.
Yes. Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is the same listing. This free GMB audit checks that public profile. You do not log in to the Google Business Profile dashboard.
The $9 report adds full score breakdown and evidence, local competitor benchmarks, prioritized fixes with measurable targets, and a 30/60/90-day plan and emailed PDF. Freelancer ($19/mo) includes 15 of those audits a month. Agency ($49/mo) includes 60.
